Alford Lake Camp AMT Hike 2025
Alford Lake Camp, a century-old girls camp on Alford Lake in Union, Maine, asked me to document the inredible journey of a handful of their campers on the AMT.
The hikers spent seven weeks on the trail with two counselors on a trek of discovery and growth. This short film, played during camp “homecoming” was designed to help communicate their adventure to family, friends and alumn.
James Taylor - There We Were
In 2015 James Taylor’s management asked me to create a feature length documentary about James’ first album of new material in over a decade. I spent nearly a year and a half with James documenting his creative process from
song writing, to rehearsals, to recording the album and finally touring the US singing his new songs. This is a teaser for that film, which is available with the purchse of the Deluxe Edition CD/DVD of his album ‘Before This World.’
at the 12th Global Dialogue Platform on Anticipatory Humanitarian Action in Berlin. Regie and I chose the Queen/Bowie song “Under Pressure” as the starting point for our piece.
Under Pressure with Regie Gibson
In 2024 The Red Cross/Red Crescent Climate Centre asked me to work with Massachusetts Poet Laureate Regie Gibson on a lyrical film to be screened
PenBay Partnership Care - 2013
We chose a handful of subjects and made 30 second and one minute vignettes of each. Each person highlighted on area of excellence the hospital wished to highlight. This one focuses on PenBay Orthopaedics.
This is an older piece from 2013, however it exemplifies the kind of short-form, to the point, storytelling I truly love. In 2013 Pen Bay Hospital asked me to do a series of vignettes on people who had recently had experiences with the hospital.
26 Words - Robot - Pilot Episode
I include this piece because it is whimsical, fun, educational, and demonstrates my ability to take a crazy concept from script to production to post and finally to pitch over a long period of time. From idea to pitch at Discovery was nearly two years.
In 2018 I decided to pitch an etymology video series to Discovery and a few other networks. I gathered my filmmaker friends together and made this 14 minute pilot episode about the history of the word Robot.
