World Bank Land Conferece 2025
We were invited to do cool stuff at the 2025 World Bank Land Conference
Every year or so, the World Bank puts on a Land Conference. They open the doors to their beautiful global headquarters in Washington, D.C. and invite land rights and development experts as well as land ministers and community land representatives from across the globe to convene for a week and discuss everything land. This year the big topics were land tenure (who owns the land and tools they can use to make sure it stays that way) and climate change.
This year, Mercedes Stickler, senior land administration specialist at the World Bank, invited us to do some cool stuff. The video above is one of those cool things. We shot interviews and b-roll during the conference and then edited together this tight little 3 minute piece to showcase all the amazing goodness that happened at the conference. We also produced a video for a Megatron display that played throughout the conference in the World Bank atrium.
We also had the opportunity to work with two incredible New Yorker Magazine cartoonists, Kendra Allenby and Pat Byrnes to produce a series of cartoons directly tied to the themes of this year’s conference.
