Anelisa is a writer, producer, and director based in New York City. Her work as a storyteller has spanned over ten years and a variety of media outlets, including television, documentary, commercial and independent feature and short film. Her career began in the Federated States of Micronesia where she produced educational films for Micronesian Seminar, a local non-profit. This experience has influenced her work in many ways. She has worked and traveled throughout the world choosing to focus on storytelling as a means to educate, entertain, and effect change in our society, one story at a time. Anelisa is currently the Director of Operations for the MPS Directing program at SVA NYC. She is also completing her MFA in Visual Narrative at SVA and continues to write, produce, and direct independent and freelance projects.
